We are Pavel & Heather, and The Kulani Maui is our latest passion project together. We purchased the property 3 years ago and have been enthusiastically renovating to create our dream hospitality retreat to share with you. We love Maui and we love to share our aloha. If you don’t find us in the garden or behind the espresso bar, you’ll most likely find Pavel on the tennis court and Heather out running or in yoga. Of course, we love all things water too! Pavel has lived on Maui for nearly 18 years, and is originally from the Czech Republic. Heather has lived here for 8 years, originally from New York and then California. Heather came for a Maui vacation, met Pavel, fell in love and never looked back. Kulani means “resembling heaven” or “little heaven” in Hawaiian.
