Arts Factory

✏️ Description

Founded in 1996 by Effi Mild and Laurent Zorzin, Arts Factory explores the contemporary graphic scene; at the crossroads of drawing, illustration, comics and graphics. With a bookstore space and 250 m2 spread over 4 levels with atypical architecture, it is today the only European gallery of this size, entirely dedicated to an area long ignored by the traditional art market. Nearly 200 exhibitions have been produced by these two activists of the artistic circuit, from their first address in the Abbesses district, to their new premises on rue de Charonne, located in the former Lavignes-Bastille loft. A historic cultural site in eastern Paris, where Andy Warhol presented in 1986 his only exhibition specially designed for a French gallery.
